PROJECT GOALS

• Reduce the number of uninsured children who are eligible for Medicaid or State Child Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), but remain uninsured.
  
• Reduce the number of uninsured adults who are eligible for Medicaid but remain uninsured.

PROJECT STRATEGIES

• Coordinate and conduct outreach Programs to inform families about available health care coverage
• Simplify enrollment and re-enrollment or ‘renewal’ processes so they are family friendly
• Coordinate coverage programs so that individuals and families move from one type of insurance program to another seamlessly, without losing coverage
